I hope you are managing to keep those lovely woofs of yours cool in this weeks hot spell – Tilly and Dexter are sprawled across our wooden floor keeping as cool as possible!
So, as you know, Master Dexter aka Chocolate Monster is the voice on Twitter behind nickiBreeze Pet Photography’s web presence. I thought as he is my gorgeous boy, the inspiration behind my pet photography, and my pet model for trying new things, I would share some of my favourite shots of him over the last three years (can’t believe he is 3!). Dexter is a chocolate labrador, of working gun dog line. He has very strong instincts but has been a dream to train in obedience (agility is another conversation), so whilst he will chase rabbits, foxes, deer, and the other week ran along side a badger (just to say ‘hello’ I might add, no malice there), he is so easy to recall away from that chase instinct. On the other hand, in the house he has a naughty boy personality and gives you such a look sometimes when he gets told off. He is such a character and I hope that comes across in the photos! The yellow labrador in the pictures is his rather camera shy sister, Princess Tilly, who I will blog about sometime in the future, but for now meet Master Dexter…
